The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of young learners’
vocabulary through windows shopping method at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Ternate. This
research used descriptive quantitative method involved 28 students at class VIII.
Data were collected from pre-test and post-test in multiple choice design. From the
result, it showed that the implementation of windows shopping method can
significantly improve students’ vocabulary at SMP Negeri 2 Ternate. Where the
students before and after knowing and studying vocabulary through windows
shopping method significantly have improvement about vocabulary.
