TEACHERS’ CREATIVITY SKILL IN TEACHING ENGLISH AT SMA NEGERI 2 KOTA TERNATE

The purpose of this study was to determine the teachers’ creativity skill in
teaching English at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Ternate in tenth grade. This research
used a qualitative method with two teachers participating in the study.
Technique of data collection used in this study was class observation,
interviews, and questionaire of teachers creativity in teaching English. Data
analysis shows that two teacher applied aspect of creativity in teaching learning
process, the first teacher applied originality, flexibility, and fluency. but the four
aspect of creativity the teachers more referred to originality fluency and
flexibility The second teacher used aspect creativity that referred to the
originality, flexibility and fluency. on the aspects of the teachers conclusion
less applying the elaboration aspects so that the two teacher have not fully
implemented four aspects of creativity in the learning process of teaching
English.
