The purpose of this research is to find out the types of social values in movies and to
describe the social values in movies. This research used qualitative descriptive
method by applying the content analysis. To analyzed the data, the researchers used
Zubaedi's theory to analyzed social values in movies. This movie is a literary work
that becomes a learning medium. As a medium, the movie also contains values that
can be a lesson for the audience. Enola Holmes is an interesting movie that also has
social value in it. Based on the results, there are eight types of social values
contained in this movie. The eight social values in question consist of the value of
dedication, the value of help, the value of kinship, the value of caring, a sense of
belonging, the value of discipline, the value of empathy, and the value of justice.
