This study seeks to find out the experience of learning English in fifth semester
students of the UPW tourism business study program at Khairun University. The
method of this study is a qualitative method because the data collected through
questionnaires and interviews. As a result, the researcher found that students had
interest and motivation in learning English even though there were still students
who had difficulty learning English, this was due to the lecturer's teaching style
which only focused on some students and was not comprehensive but this did not
reduce interest and motivation. learn English students.
